The impact index of the journal "Statistics and Decision-Making" has significantly improved.

Recently, the Electronic Journal Publishing Co., Ltd. of China Academic Journals (CD-ROM Edition) and the China Science Literature Metrics Evaluation Research Center released the “Annual Report on Impact Factors of Chinese Academic Journals (Humanities and Social Sciences—2025 Edition).” Several core indicators of “Statistics & Decision-Making” have significantly improved, reaching new highs once again.

Data show that the journal’s Impact Index (CI) stands at 819, representing a 16% increase over the previous year. The Composite Impact Factor reached 8.079, up 61% from last year’s 5.024. The Comprehensive Impact Factor came in at 3.909, a 49% rise from last year’s 2.622. Web downloads exceeded 2.62 million, an increase of 310,000 compared to the previous year. As a result, the journal’s academic dissemination and influence continue to expand.

In recent years, “Statistics & Decision” has adhered to the editorial principle of “upholding academic integrity and serving scholars in various disciplines,” while firmly maintaining its distinctive features of “integrating statistics with decision-making and emphasizing both theory and empirical research.” The journal has kept pace with cutting-edge academic developments, prioritized quality above all else, and continuously enhanced both its publication quality and academic influence. In 2025, “Statistics & Decision” was selected for the eleventh time as a source journal for the Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) and for the ninth time as a core Chinese science and technology journal. It was also recognized by the National Center for Philosophy and Social Sciences Literature as “the most popular journal in the field of statistics, prioritized for early publication.”
