“Statistics and Decision-Making” has been selected for the ninth time as a “China Core Journal of Science and Technology.”

On October 30, the press conference on the 2025 China Science and Technology Paper Statistics was held in Beijing. At the conference, the China Institute of Scientific and Technical Information under the Ministry of Science and Technology released the “Chinese Core Journals of Science and Technology (2025 Edition).” Since 2016, “Statistics & Decision-making” has been included in the “Chinese Core Journals of Science and Technology” for nine consecutive times.

The “Core Journals of Chinese Science and Technology” (Source Journals for Statistics of Chinese Scientific Papers) is a nationally recognized evaluation system for scientific and technological journals. The selection of source journals undergoes rigorous quantitative assessment and peer review, and the list is updated and adjusted annually. According to the 2025 edition of the directory recently released, a total of 2,006 Chinese-language scientific and technological journals, 197 English-language scientific and technological journals, and 414 social science journals have been included.

In recent years, thanks to the care and support of a broad community of scholars, authors, and readers, the quality of our journal has steadily improved, and its academic influence and reach have continued to expand. “Statistics & Decision” will always uphold its editorial mission of “adhering to the essence of scholarship and serving scholars and academic disciplines,” prioritizing quality above all else, staying true to the journal’s unique characteristics, and grounding itself in China’s economic and social realities. On the front line of academic journals, we will strengthen research leadership, academic dissemination, and service provision, thereby contributing our publishing efforts to the thriving development of academic disciplines.
