"Statistical Research and Decision-Making" Achieves Record-High Academic Metrics

Recently, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) jointly released the "China Academic Journal Impact Factor Annual Report (Humanities and Social Sciences • 2020 Edition)" with the China Science Literature Metrics Evaluation Research Center. According to the report, *Statistical & Decision Making* has maintained its position in the Q1 quartile of statistical journals for six consecutive years, reflecting the journal's consistently high quality and influential standing.
The 2019 Annual Report reveals that *Statistical Research & Decision Making* achieved an Academic Journal Impact Index (CI) value of 783.617, ranking second among statistical journals—marking a significant improvement of 100.083 points compared to the previous year. Additionally, the journal’s Composite Impact Factor rose to 1.749, up by 0.266 from the prior year; its annual Composite Impact Factor showed even stronger growth, increasing by 0.353—a notable uptick of 0.201 compared to the previous year. The journal also led all discipline-specific journals with a total composite citation frequency reaching 19,065. Meanwhile, web-based downloads surged to 1.1261 million, an impressive 245,700 increase from the previous year. On the web, the journal’s annual download rate climbed to 236, a remarkable 97-point rise over the prior year. Finally, the journal’s Volume-Effectiveness Index reached 0.800, reflecting a substantial improvement of 0.167 from the previous year.

In recent years, the academic influence of *Statistics & Decision-Making* has continued to rise, with its composite impact factor and comprehensive impact factor increasing from 0.844 and 0.401 in 2014 to 1.749 and 0.830 in 2019, respectively. Meanwhile, all key academic metrics have reached new record highs.
