"Statistics & Decision" Named Among China's Journals with International Influence

　　From October 28 to 29, the "2019 China Academic Journals Future Forum" was held in Beijing. Nearly 2,500 representatives from the national journal community, along with relevant experts and leaders, engaged in extensive discussions and in-depth exchanges centered around the theme: "Leading Academia, Supporting Innovation, Building Strong Brands, and Striving for Excellence."

　　At the opening ceremony of the conference, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) unveiled the "China Academic Journal Impact Factor Annual Report (2019 Edition)" and the lists of "2019 China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals" and "2019 China's Outstanding International-impact Academic Journals," jointly developed by the China Science Literature Metrics Evaluation Research Center and Tsinghua University Library. Notably, *Statistical & Decision Making* magazine has been recognized as one of "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals" for the third consecutive year. Among the 60 humanities and social sciences journals selected, *Statistical & Decision Making* ranked 35th with an international impact index (CI value) of 148.556.

　　The academic impact of a journal reflects the scholarly community's recognition of its brand and the scholarly value of the articles it publishes. According to the "China Academic Journal Impact Factor Annual Report (2019 Edition)," *Statistical & Decision Making* ranks second among journals in the field of statistics, with a domestic journal impact index (CI) value of 683.534. Additionally, all individual evaluation metrics showed varying degrees of improvement compared to the previous year.
