"Statistics & Decision Making" Selected for the Seventh Time as One of China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals

On December 5, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Tsinghua University Library jointly released the 2022 "Annual Report on International Citation of Chinese Academic Journals." The report objectively reflects the current state of Chinese academic journals in the global academic research arena by analyzing citations from international journals to Chinese publications. This year, the international report drew its statistical data from a wide range of sources, including international journals, conference papers, and books—among which 23,438 were identified as international citation sources. Specifically, this includes 21,879 journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS), along with an additional 1,559 internationally recognized journals not yet covered by WoS. The report calculates key metrics for Chinese academic journals, such as the total number of international citations, the international citation impact factor, and the Journal Impact Index (CI). Based on these metrics, the top 10% of journals are selected and ranked according to their CI scores, earning them the title of "Internationally Influential Brand Academic Journals" (hereafter referred to as "TOP Journals"). Journals ranking within the top 5% are designated as "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals," while those between 5% and 10% are classified as "China's Outstanding Academically Influential Journals on the Global Stage."

The journal *Statistics & Decision-Making* has once again been recognized as one of China’s most internationally influential academic journals. Among the 80 humanities and social sciences journals selected, it ranks 37th—up four places from last year—and holds the top spot among statistics journals. Additionally, it is the leading journal from Hubei Province to make the list. This marks the seventh consecutive year that *Statistics & Decision-Making* has been included in this prestigious ranking.
