"Statistics & Decision Making" Selected for the Sixth Time as a "Chinese Academic Journal with International Influence"

On December 6, the "2021 China Academic Journals Future Forum," jointly hosted by the China Periodicals Association, the Chinese Society of Science and Technology Journal Editors, and organized by CNKI, was held as an online conference. With the theme "High-Quality, High-Level, High-Caliber—Driving the Prosperity and Development of Academic Journals," the forum focused on discussing key, challenging, and trending issues in the development of China's academic journals, emphasizing their critical role in enhancing the nation's scientific and technological competitiveness and cultural soft power, ultimately contributing to the robust advancement of academic publishing in China.

At the opening ceremony, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Tsinghua University Library jointly released the 2021 "Annual Report on International Citation of Chinese Academic Journals." This report delves into big data from citations across more than 20,000 international academic journals, analyzing the global citation performance of China's scholarly publications. It provides an objective reflection of how Chinese academic journals are perceived in the international academic research community, highlighting key journal evaluation metrics such as the Total Citation Frequency (TC), the Impact Factor based on citations by other journals (IF), and the Citation Index (CI). The report also identifies the "Most Internationally Influential Chinese Academic Journals" and the "Outstanding Chinese Academic Journals with International Influence" for 2021. Notably, *Statistical Research & Decision-Making* has once again been recognized as one of the "Most Internationally Influential Chinese Academic Journals," ranking 41st among the 80 humanities and social sciences journals selected. Among these, it holds the top spot in the statistics category and ranks second among all journals from Hubei Province to make the list. This marks the sixth consecutive year that *Statistical Research & Decision-Making* has been featured on this prestigious list.
