"Statistics & Decision" Once Again Featured on the List of China's Academically Influential Journals with International Reach

　　The "China Academic Journal International Citation Annual Report" (2018 edition), developed by the China Academic Literature Evaluation Research Center and Tsinghua University Library and published by CNKI, has released its list of "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals"—60 titles each in the humanities & social sciences and science & technology categories. Notably, *Statistical Research & Decision Making* has once again made the prestigious "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals" list, ranking 29th in the humanities and social sciences category. This marks the third consecutive year the journal has been recognized on this esteemed list.

 

　　The "China Academic Journal International Citation Annual Report" compiles data on 6,261 academic journals published in China, including 2,179 journals in the humanities and social sciences. The report also references a total of 21,865 international source journals. Based on rigorous selection criteria—including journal publication standards, subject scope, academic impact, degree of internationalization, global reach, thematic relevance, and regional representativeness—the report categorizes Chinese journals into two main groups: Humanities & Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences & Engineering Technologies. For each category, the Journal Impact Index (CI) is calculated, and the top 10% of journals in each category are identified as "Internationally Influential Brand Academic Journals" (TOP Journals). Journals ranking within the top 5% are designated as "Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals," while those between the 5% and 10% marks are classified as "Outstanding Internationally Influential Academic Journals." The primary goal of this evaluation process is to establish strong domestic journal brands, accelerate the internationalization of Chinese scholarly publications, encourage researchers to prioritize submitting their work to these journals, and ultimately help build a group of leading, internationally recognized journals that serve as open, representative platforms for the global academic community. Since its first publication in 2012, the report has garnered widespread acclaim from academics, journal publishers, and relevant government agencies alike.
