"Statistics & Decision Making" has been listed for the eighth time on the "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals" (Humanities and Social Sciences) list.

On October 27, the "China Academic Journal International Citation Annual Report" (2023 edition), jointly developed by CNKI and Tsinghua University Library, was unveiled at the 4th China Academic Journal International Influence High-Level Forum. The report objectively reflects the influence and discourse status of China's academic journals in the global academic research community by analyzing how international journals cite Chinese publications. The statistical sources used in the report include international journals, conference papers, books, and more—among them, 23,572 international journals were included. The report also tracks international citations for 6,888 Chinese academic journals. Data reveals that in 2022, Chinese academic journals collectively received 2,167,841 international citations, representing a year-on-year increase of 27.1% and marking the 12th consecutive year of positive growth.

The "China Academic Journals International Citation Annual Report" (2023 edition) categorizes Chinese academic journals into two groups—Social Sciences and Science & Technology—and calculates the Impact Index (CI) separately for each. Based on their CI rankings, the top 5% of journals are designated as "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals," while those ranking between the top 5% and 10% are recognized as "China's Outstanding Internationally Influential Academic Journals." Together, these are collectively referred to as the "International Influence TOP Journals." These internationally recognized TOP journals have earned widespread acclaim within the journal community and among research management authorities, playing a pivotal role in helping Chinese academic journals gain global visibility and enhance their international impact.

The journal *Statistics & Decision-Making* has been recognized for the eighth consecutive time on the 2023 list of "China's Most Internationally Influential Academic Journals" (Humanities and Social Sciences), ranking 40th among the 80 humanities and social science journals selected—and securing the top spot among statistics-focused journals. Notably, the journal’s International Impact Index (CI), total international citations, and international citation impact factor all saw significant year-over-year improvements.
